This talk intro­duces devel­op­ers to passkeys, a secure and user-friend­ly authen­ti­ca­tion alter­na­tive to tra­di­tion­al pass­words, lever­ag­ing pub­lic-key cryp­tog­ra­phy. We’ll explore how passkeys enhance secu­ri­ty, pre­vent phish­ing, and improve user expe­ri­ence by stor­ing cre­den­tials local­ly and sim­pli­fy­ing authen­ti­ca­tion process­es.
