The c’t <web­dev> team strives to enable all par­tic­i­pants, speak­ers and employ­ees of part­ners and spon­sors to par­tic­i­pate in the con­fer­ence with­out dis­crim­i­na­tion or harass­ment – regard­less of their gen­der, eth­nic­i­ty, reli­gion, belief, impair­ment, age or sex­u­al iden­ti­ty. This applies regard­less of the tech­ni­cal plat­form used.

Unwant­ed behav­iour includes unwant­ed phys­i­cal con­tact, insult­ing, dis­crim­i­na­to­ry or sex­u­alised word­ing and images in talks, work­shops, break­out ses­sions or chats. It also includes harass­ing image and sound record­ings, stalk­ing and delib­er­ate­ly dis­rup­tive behav­iour that leads to repeat­ed inter­rup­tions of parts of the event.

The c’t team takes all con­cerns in this regard seri­ous­ly and decides how to respond appro­pri­ate­ly. In such a case, the team will take care of the harassed per­son and decide with­in the frame­work of the house rules how a rep­e­ti­tion can be excluded.
